06.15.2005 CCIS Products Launches The web site for CCIS Products, Inc has been launched. The site uses Flash and CSS to deliver a clean and professional site to promote their flagship product, Aquron. 12.11.2004 Virginia Romance Writers Seminar I gave a web site seminar for the Virginia Romance Writers. Some of the topics covered included domain registration, hosting, search engine optimization, and other key points to help their memebers get noticed on the internet. 04.30.2004 Two Dips Web Site Launched The web site for Two Dips Ice Cream Tasters has been launched. The site aims to help users find extrodinary ice cream flavors, but is actually just an excuse to eat more ice cream. Check out the "cool" interface and complete use of valid CSS! 04.20.2004 Flash MX Intermediate at PVCC I will be teaching a Flash MX Intermediate class through PVCC's Center for Training and Workforce Development. The class will take place on the evenings of May 7 & 21. Further details about the class can be found at the CTWD web site. 04.15.2004 VPTC Tech Awards Presentation Shines The updated VPTC Tech Awards Presentation was put on display during the annual Tech Awards dinner that featured Red Hat President and CEO Matthew Szulik as the keynote speaker. The presentation had more of an Academy Awards feel to it this year as we featured the logos of the Tech Award finalists during the awards ceremony. Once again, XML saved the day and made the presentation easy to update and easy to work with and allowed us to deliver the final presentation with time to spare. 03.04.2004 Countryside Dry Cleaners Web Site We just wrapped up work on the web site for Countryside Dry Cleaners. Countryside is a local dry cleaning business that wanted to get the word out about their services through an online presence. With navigation and other elements that set the mood and a clean overall design, the client was ecstatic with the final results. 02.22.2004 "Flash Golf" is Now "Pixel Hills Country Club" Flash Golf has now moved to its own home at Pixel Hills Country Club. See if you're good enough to put your name on the Top Rounds or Top Players leaderboards. 02.22.2004 35 Years of Sesame Street PeopleSpace and Kafenatid recently completed a joint project for SesameStreet.com. To celebrate 35 years of Sesame Street, we were tasked with creating a Flash trivia game hosted by Oscar the Grouch. The final game includes 6 trivia categories and plenty of taunts from Oscar himself. Check it out and see how high of a score you can get! 01.06.2004 Fun in the Suds The Budweiser and Michelob banner ads we did for PeopleSpace have been added to the portfolio section. The ads have been featured prominently on both TheSabre.com, a site focusing on University of Virginia athletics, and TechSideline.com, a site focusing on Virginia Tech athletics. 11.06.2003 PHP Class at PVCC I'm going to be teaching a beginning PHP class at PVCC in the 2004 Spring semester. The class will be offered under the Center for Training and Workforce Development, so if you're in the area and you want to learn some beginning PHP, be sure to sign up. |
